Final Year Project

By Andy, posted 2009-04-17 at 16:04:04

Less than two weeks are left on my final year project now, which is an interactive simulation of a heritage building using the Unreal Engine on a Playstation 3. Hopefully I will be able to upload it on this website for people to try it out at home and I would love to upload tutorials on this website for Unreal Developers, the community certainly needs them and I've learnt a lot of stuff over the past few months working on it. I have plenty to say on the topic. Watch this space!

Adverts and popularity

By Andy, posted 2009-01-10 at 18:27:12

Since the release of PingBall here This website has gained a lot of popularity, gaining 13,000 requests since it first launched on newgrounds (amongst other popular gaming websites). So I have included some google adverts so this website can try and pay for itself a little bit. It has given me more incentive to improve this website, and creat more games, like KurinKopter which will be released soon and is shaping up very well!

If you came here from the pingball link, please support me by viewing the adverts, much appreciated!

Profile is completed!

By Andy, posted 2009-01-04 at 22:13:49

I have just created a quick and dirty profile page with some basic information and an image and a link to my gamertag and facebook page!

I also modified the colour changer to be seperate colour links rather than a toggle. That allows me to add new colours! I think I'll call it a day now.

File section completed!

By Andy, posted 2009-01-04 at 21:11:28

Like I said earlier (this is a busy day for me!) I have made a file section. Now I can upload files through my own admin panel with ease and have it shown off on the files section. I'm hoping employers will find this website useful. Now I think I should make the profile page.

A proper post

By Andy, posted 2009-01-04 at 18:01:25

This is a proper post, nothing about the progress of the site. So I just designed, created, coded and uploaded some of the site today. I've coded it in PHP. Since working on a Human computer interaction module for University I've really enjoyed playing with PHP, so I made myself a simple PHP website with some funky hand made functions such as the blog and the page of text on the home page. Plans for content? Well i'm hoping to code a bit of a file server so I can upload files and they are dynamically shown on the files page. Then perhaps have a more content rich portfolio page. Oh and I guess I should have a profile page to so people know who I am!
